We are accepting applications for the following genres: Rock, Women In Rock, Country, Women In Country, Americana/Bluegrass, Singer/Songwriter, Folk, Hip-Hop, R&B, Blues, Christian, Tribute
1. Application: All applicants shall fill out the CMA Showcase Application below. Please be sure to include your genre or genres, where we can hear your music online, and your contact info.
2. Nominee Acceptance: Our board will review your application and if you are notified that you are officially a Charlotte Music Awards Nominee, you will receive a Promotion Agreement.
3. Promotion Fee: Upon receiving your acceptance and Promotion Agreement, all nominees are required to remit a promotion fee of $80, made payable to the Charlotte Music Awards. In return, you will receive 10 tickets, valued at $8.00 each for you to sell or give away to your fans. The door price for each ticket is $10. The artist that sells the most tickets over the initial 10 tickets, will receive 2 VIP Tickets to our 2012 CMA Red Carpet Affair at the end of the year (worth $200).
4. Showcase Winner: The winner will receive an award and have an opportunity to perform at the 2012 CMA Red Carpet Affair, as well as be eligible to perform at The Hollywood Music In Media Awards in November 2012.
